Prevent Premature Aging and Wrinkles on Your Face - Protect your face as much as possible from the sun with sunscreen. A SPF 30 or above should work. If possible, avoid being outside between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. when the sun's rays are at their peak. Wear sunglasses as well to cut down on squinting. Over time, those excessive squints will leave permanent wrinkles. Tanning beds will damage skin prematurely as well. If you must use a tanning bed, cover your face during the process.

Try facial exercises. This theory was promoted in a 1996 book by Jeanette Johnson. Johnson's exercises were designed to combat the natural sagging of aging skin. One example of a daily exercise is to wink with one eye multiple times in a minute, then switch to the other eye. The exercise reportedly works out the muscles around the eye and both sides of the nasal bone.
